Coinexx Review 2026: Spreads, Execution, and the VIP Rebate Program

I've been trading with Coinexx since before they were called Coinexx - they acquired FinPro Trading around 2020, and I've been with the same platform through both names. I also run an IB program, so I have a financial relationship with them. I'm disclosing that upfront. This review is still honest.

The short version: Coinexx is a solid ECN broker with genuinely low commission costs. They're not perfect. But for active forex traders who care about execution cost, they're hard to beat on the math.

Commissions and spreads

This is where Coinexx genuinely stands out. The standard commission is $2.00/lot with raw ECN spreads starting from 0.0 pips. In practice, EURUSD averages around 0.1 pips during London and New York sessions. That puts your all-in cost at roughly $3.00/lot.

Compare that to most retail brokers charging $7/lot on commission accounts, or zero-commission accounts with 1.2-1.7 pip spreads ($12-$17/lot all-in). The difference on active volume is significant.

Execution quality

Coinexx runs ECN execution, meaning your orders go directly to liquidity providers without a dealing desk. Slippage on market orders is generally low during normal market conditions. During major news events (NFP, rate decisions), spreads widen like any ECN broker.

I haven't experienced manipulation or artificial widening outside of what's expected from the liquidity side. The execution feels clean.

Platform: MT4 and MT5

Both platforms are available. No proprietary platform. If you're already trading on MT4 or MT5 elsewhere, the transition is seamless. VPS hosting is available through Coinexx, which helps for EA trading.

Regulation and safety

Coinexx is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). This is offshore regulation - lighter oversight than FCA, ASIC, or CySEC regulated brokers. If regulatory protection is your top priority, this is a real consideration.

They've been operating for years without the kind of issues that tend to surface with problematic offshore brokers. But this is something you should factor into how much capital you keep on the platform at any one time.

Customer support

Support is available via live chat and email. Response times are inconsistent - fast sometimes, slow others. For routine account questions it's fine. For urgent trading issues, the community on Telegram has historically been more responsive than official support for quick answers.

There's a Coinexx employee active in the trader community group. Having a direct line to someone at the broker who can escalate issues is more useful than the official support channel for most things.

Who Coinexx is right for

• Active forex traders trading 20+ lots/month who want the lowest possible per-lot cost
• EA and algorithmic traders who need consistent ECN execution on MT4/MT5
• Traders already on offshore brokers who understand the regulatory tradeoffs and want better pricing

Who should look elsewhere

• Traders who need FCA or ASIC regulation for legal or personal reasons
• Very low-volume traders where the commission structure doesn't justify the switch
• Traders who prefer a larger brand with more support resources

Bottom line

Coinexx's commission cost is the best I've found for ECN forex trading, especially with the VIP rebate structure. The offshore regulation is a real limitation and anyone who tells you it's not is either uninformed or not being straight with you. Within that constraint, the execution is clean, the platform works, and the community is genuine.

If you're an active trader and cost per lot matters to you, run the numbers. The math is usually straightforward.
